Kaal Yoddha was one of the earliest projects I worked upon while joining IDZ Digital alongside Petisfactory. The game is entirely based around indian mythology for the player to battle through. The first thing I started upon was level Design. I started by creating greyblocks of levels and coordinated with other level designers for smooth creation process. I also assisted in UI design, we came up with several iterations of UI designs. We had to try and find a middle ground between making it super elegant but also simple and fitting for the game's theme.
Here's something we tried first, the spider sense based on the one in spider verse, since the main character is said to have several powers according to indian mythology, the player should be able to sense when they are being provoked by an enemy. Here's an implementation of it
